Female workers facing the challenge of digital information: A case study in the insurance sector
As a research professional, I collaborated with Nadia Naffi in the project Female workers facing the challenge of digital information: A case study in the insurance sector. The primary focus of this project was to comprehensively examine the implications of digital transformation on female workers. One of the specific objectives centered around the conduct of a Systematic Review of the Literature related to pedagogical practices in training, upskilling, and reskilling workers confronted with the challenges posed by digital transformation. In this capacity, we authored Lifelong training approaches for the post-pandemic workforces: a systematic review. The article published in 2023 enabled us to identify and synthesize best practices and strategies for skill development in the context of digital transformation.
The use of digital technologies for training purposes |Panorama 2019
In 2018, I was thrilled to work for the first time with professor Nadia Naffi, holder of the Chair in Educational Leadership (CLE) in Innovative Pedagogical Practices in Digital Contexts - National Bank.
As a research assistant, I conducted a literature review on the use of digital and emerging technologies in the design, development, and implementation of training programs in different contexts and economic sectors. Click here to learn more about the project and research reports. |
Disruption in and by Centres for Teaching and Learning during the COVID-19 Pandemic
In 2020, the educational community collectively faced the challenge of teaching and learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. Under the supervision of professor Nadia Naffi, I participated in the project Disruption in and by Centres for Teaching and Learning during the COVID-19 Pandemic: Leading the Future of Higher Ed
As the main research assistant and a member of the team, we performed an analysis of online resources that where publicly shared by Centres for Teaching and Learning (CTL) in 23 countries around the globe. Those resources were addressed to faculty members and students to support the transition to online courses during the COVID-19 pandemic. Click here for more information about this project. |

My doctoral researchCan we learn a second language through digital games? If so, what can we learn and how do we learn it when playing games? What game components support language learning?
These were the questions that motivated me to do research as a Ph.D. candidate in educational technology at Laval University. My doctoral thesis Les affordances d'un jeu sérieux éducatif pour l'apprentissage de l'anglais langue seconde chez des étudiants universitaires de premier cycle presents the results of a qualitative study aiming to identify the learning affordances of an educational serious game in a formal educational setting. |
