I am an educational technologist with strong expertise in Digital Game-based Learning and Second Language Teaching. I am passionate about research, languages and teaching. I consider myself a lifelong learner, a team player and a citizen of the world.

Experience / Skills

My professional and academic experiences have led me to developed skills in
  • Research in Educational technology, Digital Game Based Language Learning (DGBLL) and Computer-assisted Language Learning (CALL)
  • Design and implementation of pedagogical activities exploiting the uses of digital technology to support teaching and learning
  • Teaching second languages (French, English and Spanish) to different audiences (adults, children, teenagers)
  • Consulting services in educational technology, pedagogical game design, and integration of ICT in formal educational settings

Awards

My work, as an individual and as a team member, has been recognized with the following awards :
  • Best Paper Presentation Award, granted by the IFERP Institute during the LAISEE Conference 2024 for the Paper "Co-designing a financial literacy videogame: A participatory research-based approach in complex scenarios" (Lima, Peru, June 2024).
  • Open with Artificial Intelligence Award 2024  granted by the Open Education Global Board of Directors and the 2024 Awards Evaluation Committee. Around 120 projects from 29 countries participated in the event, competing in 16 categories. The evaluation criteria included: open education, innovation and originality. Tecnológico de Monterrey was awarded for its project “AI and Open Education for All”, highlighting its contribution to the use of artificial intelligence to promote equitable access and improve the quality of education globally (Brisbane, Australia, November 2024).
  • Lifelong Learning Gold Award 2024, an International QS Reimagine Education Award granted by QS Quacquarelli Symonds for the project “Cultivating Complex Reasoning Skills to Empower Lifelong Learners”. Around 1,300+ projects from around the world participated in the event, which were competing in 18 categories. The evaluation criteria included: project approach, project impact, scalability, innovation and originality (London, England, December 2024).
